Just when you thought Netflix's Tiger King was officially dead and gone, Toronto's foremost "reptilian shape-shifting" drag performer, the mononymous Yovska, has released a brilliant new take on one of the show's hit songs, Joe Exotic's "Here Kitty Kitty."
In a video posted today, the 23-year-old "cryptid" recreates the now-infamous music video using handmade costumes for Exotic, Carole Baskin and even some big cats. The video sees Yovska's Baskin writhing around on a bed stacked with cash, Exotic playing with cat toys, and tigers eating various meat byproducts.
According to a RuPaul's Drag Race fandom page, Yovska "wants to evoke a sense of childlike awe or wonder instead of scaring people. He wants to spark a high level of curiosity and make people stop and think about what they are seeing."
The video is, however, pretty frightening.
Previously, pop-punk vets the Offspring released their own version of the track, donning a series of tiger costumes themselves.
