Toronto Symphony Orchestra to Perform 'Superman' Score in Concert

Shows will take place from February 15 to 17

As the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) readies Roy Thomson Hall for another month of concerts, organizers have announced that the ensemble will perform John Williams's score to the original Superman movie alongside screenings of the 1978 classic from February 15 to 17.

The film stars Christopher Reeve in the titular role leading a cast jam-packed with film icons, including Marlon Brando as Jor-El and Gene Hackman as the antagonist Lex Luthor.

There's no better time to revive the movie as, just last week, Reeve's life and time as Superman were put under a microscope as the Super/Man documentary made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

Don your cape and take flight to TSO's official website, where tickets for all three screenings are on sale now.
