The Linda Lindas are about to embark on a North American tour supporting Green Day with Rancid and the Smashing Pumpkins — not a bad gig for a band their age! — and now, they'll have new material to bring with them on the road, as they've just announced their sophomore album.

No Obligation arrives October 11 via Epitaph, and is said to see the band combining the flavours of Los Angeles punk, post-punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en Español. They preview the effort today with lead single "All in My Head," on which songwriter Lucia de la Garza helms lead vocals.

"I wrote 'All in My Head,' from the perspective of a book character, which kinda brought us out of our comfort zone," she said of the track, having read My Year of Rest And Relaxation on tour last year. "It felt like a break from reality, which we don't usually find ourselves writing about."

The track arrives alongside a James Wyatt-directed music video, which you can watch below, where you'll also find the album's tracklist.

You can catch the Linda Lindas in Toronto next month, or in Montreal when they play Osheaga. See their full tour schedule here.
