Back in 1999, the Get Up Kids released their seminal album Something to Write Home About, and now, 25 years later, they're bringing it back to audiences across North America with an anniversary tour.
The entire tour takes place in the US, save for one Canadian date — after kicking off in June, the band will land themselves at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on October 5, with support from Smoking Popes, who will join them on the majority of the run.
"Anybody can start a band when you're 20 and go on tour and have a couple of years of fun with that. But what it became, at least to us, is the reason that we can still do this now," the group's Matt Pryor shared in a release. "We are doing this as a celebration, and we're going to have a party every night on stage."
