Polyvinyl Records has shared a new compilation album of covers, unreleased material and demos titled Stay Home. The record features a number of the label's artists and is available for purchase exclusively at Bandcamp for a minimum cost of $5 USD. All proceeds from the record go toward the artists included in the comp.
The 16-track album is filled with previously unreleased material from Chris Farren and Radiation City, as well as covers by Owen, Xiu Xiu, Palehound, Squirrel Flower, Hazel English and demos from Of Montreal, the Get Up Kids, Yumi Zouma and STRFKR. There's also contributions from Pedro the Lion, Post Animal, Kero Kero Bonito and more.
"What originally began as a way to help support our artists affected by COVID-19, quickly grew into a project spanning more than half of the label's active roster," the label wrote in a statement. "Stay home while still showing your support <3 just look at that fire tracklist!"
Additionally, the label has listed a Janelle Abad-designed Stay Home T-shirt for pre-order at a cost of $15 USD, again with all proceeds going toward the artists featured on the record.
