Terra Lightfoot Reveals Orchestral 'Live in Concert' LP

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Feb 6, 2017

Since releasing Every Time My Mind Runs Wild in 2015, Hamilton-bred singer-songwriter Terra Lightfoot has brought her music to audiences across North America, the UK and Europe. Now, listeners will be able to bring home a live set from Lightfoot with the release of Live in Concert this week.

Lightfoot's set that makes up Live in Concert was recorded at McMaster University's LIVELab, where she was joined by the National Academy Orchestra of Canada and John-Angus MacDonald of the Trews. As one could expect from such a guestlist, the record features dynamic orchestral arrangements of Lightfoot's original songs.

A press release notes that the album will also be accompanied with video footage of the set, with a clip of Lightfoot and co. playing through "Lily's Fair" available to view in the player below.

Live in Concert will arrive February 10 through Sonic Unyon/Sony Music Canada on CD, vinyl and digital formats. Read through the tracklisting and watch footage for "Lily's Fair" in the player below, where you'll also find an audio-only player of the track.
