The crooner performed at the Mississippi Valley Fair in Iowa Thursday

Like too many performers in the post-lockdown concert landscape, T-Pain has now joined the unlucky group of #YeetBeat victims after a water bottle and other objects were pelted at him on stage at Davenport, IA's Mississippi Valley Fair on Thursday night (August 1).

Pausing the show to lay into the guilty concertgoers, T-Pain righteously called out the disrespect, saying, "As a muthafucka that turns 40 this year, I'm not obligated to stay up here while muthafuckas keep disrespecting me. I don't want to sound like an asshole, but you wouldn't stay up here if you just kept getting disrespected like that. That's just weird."

He continues, "I want to keep going. I want to keep having fun. I fuck with the most of y'all. It's only a few pieces of shit out there ... I'm not a fucking clown. I'm not gonna sit up here and get pies thrown in my face and shit. I don't want to leave halfway through, trust me, but I can't stay up this muthafucka getting disrespected. That's all I'm saying."

The Auto-Tune king, set to perform at Osheaga this weekend, resumed the show after his speech as fans chanted his name. Hopefully his Canadian fans are more composed for his Montreal appearance.
