Philly shoegazers A Sunny Day in Glasgow released their Christmas cassette Sketch for Winter I: New Christmas Classics this week through Geographic North, but for those without tape players, here's the track "Saturn Pulls Me Apart (Death of the Unconquerable Night)"
This isn't your average Christmas carol. As with much of A Sunny Day in Glasgow's material, the dreamy arrangement favours haze over clarity, and they keep the vocals so buried and blurry that the lyrics are mostly incomprehensible. It's clearly a holiday tune though — one of the only clearly distinguishable words is "Christmas."
