BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 11, 2019

Tasha the Amazon drops her sophomore album Black Moon tomorrow (November 12), but you can give it an early listen right now.

The Toronto rapper describes the new collection of songs as "shedding fucks" from her past preoccupations with fitting into a typical hip-hop narrative or caring about what haters have to say.

"On one hand, Black Moon is the eclipse-point of a moon, which is the ending of one phase and the beginning of another," she said in a statement. "But it also means the dark side of the moon."

Armed with classical piano training, dancehall influences and an inward-facing mindset, Tasha delivers a sonic evolution on her latest record.

Listen to Black Moon below, before it officially drops on November 12.
