Since Diddy was just joking about paying Sting $5,000 a day for sampling "Every Breath You Take," the former Police frontman needs to make money some other way — so he's heading out on a North American leg of his My Songs 2023 world tour.
The newly announced dates, which will see support from Joe Sumner, include a couple of Canadian stops in Toronto and Vancouver.
The run kicks off at Toronto's Budweiser Stage on September 5, with Sting then travelling the US before returning to Canada to play Vancouver's Rogers Arena on September 29. He'll complete the venture stateside, wrapping things up in Rogers, AR, on October 12.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (April 14), following various presales beginning tomorrow (April 12) at 10 a.m. local.
