Last year, we saw the birth of Sleater-Kinney/R.E.M. supergroup Filthy Friends, and with the project's debut album coming out later this month, they are showing it off with a new video.
Filthy Friends features Sleater-Kinney's Corin Tucker and R.E.M.'s Peter Buck, as well as Pacific Northwest heavy-hitters Scott McCaughey, Bill Rieflin and Kurt Bloch. They first premiered their track "Despierata" as part of the anti-Trump campaign 30 Days, 30 Songs, but that's the track they've now revisited for the new video.
You can watch the low-budget-styled clip down below via Pitchfork.
As for Filthy Friends' new album, it's called Invitation and will arrive on August 25 via Kill Rock Stars.
