Slash has been very tight-lipped about his new album until a recent interview with Yahoo! Music, in which he revealed that it will be similar to his first solo album — which featured guest performances by the likes of Fergie, Adam Levine, Ozzy Osbourne and Dave Grohl, to name a few — but will be more "blues-oriented." He also shared that Demi Lovato sings on one of the songs.

"There's not really much more to tell you at this point, but [Lovato and I] definitely recorded something," he said.

This comes after Lovato dropped the rock version of "Sorry Not Sorry" for their upcoming album Revamped last week, on which Slash contributed guitar. You can hear it below.

Slash added that the two of them bonded over their struggles with addiction and getting sober.

"She and I know each other because we're both… we've been through that," he said. "That's how we initially started sort of talking, and she's just really cool and she's a really intelligent and talented girl. And so, we've just been friends ever since then."

He hasn't revealed the release date for the new album, but said it will come out sometime next year. He is currently touring with Guns N' Roses until October, and in January, he begins his tour with his other band, the Conspirators.
