Ahead of this Friday's (April 4) arrival of her new album Abyss (via Sacred Bones Records), Berlin-based British musician Anika has announced a North American tour — including Canadian concerts in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal — for this far; news she's shared alongside latest LP preview "Oxygen."
The trek gets underway starting September 18 in San Diego, CA, with support from Lauren Early. Anika's first venture to Canada will be for a September 24 appearance at the Pearl in Vancouver, which will be Early's last date of the tour. (Avishag Cohen Rodrigues takes over opening duties from there.)
After crossing the border back into the US for a couple more gigs, the artist returns to Canadian turf to play Toronto's Dance Cave (September 29) and Montreal's Sala Rossa (September 30) before completing the remaining dates stateside, wrapping things up on October 12 in Austin, TX.
