Demi Lovato has announced Revamped, a new album that features rock versions of 10 of their previous hits, including the previously shared reimaginings of "Cool for the Summer" and "Heart Attack." The album is arriving September 15.

Alongside the announcement, they've also shared a new version of 2017's "Sorry Not Sorry," featuring Slash on guitar duties. "When we were thinking about who would sound fucking rad on this song, there's only one person that came to mind, and that was Slash," Lovato said in a new interview with Rolling Stone. Slash recorded his guitar solo while on tour with Guns N' Roses in Europe.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Lovato explained the origins of Revamped, describing how they needed to find a way to meld their past pop songs with the rock material on last year's Holy Fvck while on tour. "How am I going to play 'Sorry Not Sorry' next to 'Skin of My Teeth'?" they said.

Lovato and their band chose to revamp their chart-toppers as rock songs that would work in the new context of their live show. "The fans loved it," they said. "When I got home from tour, I was like, 'Why don't I just record those versions and release them?'"

"I love revisiting these past moments in my career," they continued. "We've done a great job of re-envisioning the songs, and I'm really happy with them."

The rest of the album's tracklist has yet to be revealed, but it's said to include new versions of 2017's "Tell Me You Love Me" and 2011's "Give Your Heart a Break."
