Though Silverstein have had an incredibly busy 2015, frontman Shane Told has revealed plans to release some solo material on the side. Last night (October 21), the musician told a Toronto crowd that he's started putting work into his first LP.

The announcement was made onstage while Told was playing his opening slot for the Wonder Years at the Danforth Music Hall. During the acoustic performance, he let it be known that an as-yet-undetailed full-length will be arriving sometime in the future.

Though info is scarce, Silverstein's management confirmed to Alternative Press that Told will indeed be issuing a solo album. More details are expected to be revealed within the coming weeks.

As for Silverstein, this year has seen them issue their I Am Alive in Everything I Touch LP, undertake a 10th anniversary tour behind their Discover the Waterfront album, and curate the upcoming Stay Warm Festival. That particular show takes place at Danforth Music Hall on December 20, and will feature performances from Silverstein, Cancer Bats, Seaway and more.
