We haven't even hit the first day of fall yet, but Ontario screamo team Silverstein are already looking forward to the winter season and the launch of their Stay Warm Festival. After some initial teasing, the band have revealed the first wave of lineup announcements includes punk-metal favourites Cancer Bats and more.
The Stay Warm Festival takes place December 20 at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall. Silverstein will be headlining the event, while other acts set to appear that night include the aforementioned Cancer Bats, San Diego's Capsize and post-hardcore collective Safe to Say. More acts will be unveiled in the lead-up to the show.
UPDATE (10/06, 4:45 p.m.): The full lineup has now been announced, and it now also includes Beartooth, Seaway and Cardinals Pride.
"Stay Warm is our homecoming celebration after a busy year with some of our best friends," Silverstein vocalist Shane Told said in a statement. "We've been trying to put together an awesome festival lineup for a long time, and to be able to do this for the holidays is the perfect time. To have amazing friends that are like family all rocking out together under one roof, it will be a special night not to be missed."
Tickets to the Stay Warm Festival are already on sale, with general admission tickets available for $38.50 plus service charges and mezzanine seating for a few dollars more. You can get the full breakdown on tickets and VIP packages over here.
Silverstein issued their I Am Alive in Everything I Touch LP this past May, but had also spent part of 2015 promoting the 10th anniversary of their Discover the Waterfront LP.
