Vancouver progressive metal act Seven Year Storm is gearing up for the release of the project's debut EP Aion I, and in advance of the release, has got the exclusive video premiere for latest single "Dyatlov."
The instrumental band is the brainchild of drummer Sean Lang, who recruited guitarist and friend Dean Lamb (Archspire) for the project. Seven Year Storm has two EPs in the works, with Aion I set to arrive on February 24, with the second part to follow later.
"Dyatlov" is currently available as a free download over here, but now you can check out the accompanying visuals as well. The clip showcases Lang pounding the skins, backed with some laser lighting and interesting camera angles.

In a statement to Exclaim!, Lang had this to say about the track: "Inspired by the bizarre otherworldly events of the Dyatlov Pass Incident, this track (as well as the EP, Aion I) was never really meant to be released... until people heard it, demanded its release, and made it happen with a crowdfunding campaign. This instrumental track packs a punch, thanks to Archspire's masterful guitar wizard Dean Lamb, who is featured throughout Aion I."
