San Fermin

"Jackrabbit" (video)

Ellis Ludwig-Leone's Brooklyn-based baroque pop project San Fermin is ready to reveal their second record Jackrabbit this week, and to mark the occasion, the band have shared a new video for the album's title track.

We previously heard the bright, theatrical single, but now "Jackrabbit" has got some matching visuals. The clip opens in a serene field of flowers, but things quickly take a dramatic turn — exploding into a series of jumpy shots of vocalist Charlene Kaye sprinting through meadows, as a pair of wolves keep a watchful eye and then break into their own high-speed chase.

It's a feisty, fast-paced piece that matches the energy of the song, and totally encapsulates the song's refrain of: "Run for the hills."

Jackrabbit arrives on Tuesday (April 21) via Downtown Records, but you can give the title track's video its first watch in the player below, right now.
