Beyond crushing crowds, there's a good reason California hardcore quartet Retox are heading out on tour this winter. The band have just announced the upcoming arrival of their third full-length, Beneath California.
Due February 10 through Epitaph/Three.One.G, the 12-song set follows the group's 2013 effort YPLL. A press release notes that Retox's latest "antagonistic" LP finds the band experimenting with various genres, with tracks like "Death Will Change Your Life" being marked with "cynical lyrics drenched in rapid-fire rhythm."
In addition to the new material, the album also includes "This Should Hurt a Little Bit," a song first found on Retox's 2014 split 7-inch with Narrows. Down below, you'll find the album's running order, as well as a new video for the album's devastating punk stomp "Let's Not Keep in Touch." Keep your eyes peeled for a bat-wielding cameo from Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato.
As previously reported, Retox also have a North American tour headed our way, and it includes Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal. You can see all the dates below.
