Rammstein have announced their eighth studio album, paper shortages be damned. The German industrial outfit will deliver new LP Zeit on April 29 via Universal.
Zeit's title track is the first of its 11 songs to arrive, and you can hear it below alongside a video directed by German actor and musician Robert Gwisdek. The album follows Rammstein's untitled 2019 LP, and you can find its cover art above.
Last year, Rammstein revealed that COVID-19 lockdowns had led them to spend more time in the studio, resulting in "a record that we hadn't planned on," per keyboardist Flake Lorenz. "The fact that we couldn't perform live increased our creativity. We had more time to think of new things and less distraction."
Zeit is now available for pre-order, while its title track is also available for pre-order on 10-inch vinyl.
As previously reported, Rammstein will finally embark on a North American stadium tour later this year — with their 1000-litre pyrotechnic setup — barring any further pandemic postponements.
