German police are investigating Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann after allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced online last month.
The investigation follows initial accusations from one fan, Shelby Lynn, who took to Twitter with claims that she was drugged at a pre-show party in Lithuania and "groomed for sex."
Lynn shared her whole story on Twitter, saying she was chosen to attend the "Row 0" pre-party, where she was introduced to Lindemann. She alleges that he poured her a shot, which she believes was spiked due to the way it inebriated her. She further alleges that she was ushered into a small room where Lindemann met her during an intermission, saying that when she refused to have sex with him, he left the room, angered.
Lynn's story prompted other women to come forward with more accusations against the singer at other "Row 0" parties.
Lynn and some of the other women believe they were pre-selected on social media by a "recruiter" for Lindemann.
Lindemann has denied the accusations, his lawyers stating they are "without exception untrue."
Rammstein issued a statement on social media earlier this month saying they took the claims "extremely seriously," adding: "We condemn any kind of transgression and ask you: Do not engage in public prejudice of any kind against those who have made allegations. They are entitled to their opinions. But we, the band, also have a right — namely not to be prejudged either."
