In light of fans' recent concerns over possible drug abuse problems, Post Malone has given an update about his mental health and sobriety.
During a show last Friday (March 6) in Memphis, the rapper interrupted the performance to tell concertgoers the truth about his health.
"I'm not on drugs, and I feel the best I've ever fucking felt in my life," he says in a fan-captured video. "And that's why I can bust my ass for these shows and fucking fall on the floor and do all that fun shit. But for anyone that's concerned here, I appreciate the love and the support, but I feel fucking fantastic, and I'm not doing drugs."
His PSA follows recent rumours online from followers concerned about his behaviour during performances. In a viral TikTok video showing the artist acting erratically and falling over, a user speculated that his behaviour was the result of drug or alcohol abuse, warning fellow fans not to "cheer this on." Other users called for those close to the artist to "stop feeding young minds these drugs."
Post Malone is currently on the tail end of his "Runaway Tour" with Swae Lee. Having hit Toronto and Montreal last month on the trek, the crew will wrap up in Salt Lake City on March 21.
Post Malone's latest album, Hollywood's Bleeding, arrived back in September via Republic Records.
