Move over, Air Bud — Pitbull is headlining the halftime show at the 2024 Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) All-Star Game.
Mr. Worldwide will help celebrate the rising popularity of the women's game at Footprint Centre in Phoenix, AZ, on July 20.
"I was raised by a woman, and a woman made me a man. It's an honour to make history and perform at the WNBA All-Star Game," Pitbull shared in a statement. "Here's to all the powerful women of the WNBA. So Buckle up and get ready to have a good time, Dale!"
In May, it was announced that the WNBA would expand to Canada, launching a franchise in Toronto that will begin league play in 2026 — making good on Drake's 2021 wish for a WNBA team in his home city.
Having toured Canada with Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias in early 2024, Pitbull will now kick off his Party After Dark tour of the United States in August, featuring special guests T-Pain and Lil Jon. You can find further details via the artist's official website.
