Perfume Genius Remixes Charli XCX's "Good Ones"

It's a heavy, industrial reimagining of Charli's 'CRASH' single

Perfume Genius has shared a remix of Charli XCX's "Good Ones" that takes the song's '80s-inspired throb to a much darker, industrial-tinged place.

Mike Hadreas slows the track to a steady drip, with heavy drones and a sharp, stomping drumbeat carrying Charli's pitched-down vocals. The song fades out on some see-sawing strings and spirals of distortion, and the whole thing feels very much in line with the menacing aesthetic that Charli's been toying with lately. Listen below.

Charli XCX will release her upcoming fifth album CRASH on March 18. It's set to feature a whole whack of collaborators, including Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens, who both feature on second single "New Shapes."
