Later this month, Los Angeles-via-Ottawa power-pop performer Peach Kelli Pop (a.k.a. Allie Hanlon) will deliver her Which Witch EP through Mint Records. That's just the beginning of both parties' working relationship, however, as she has a full album on the way as well.
Hanlon has just announced plans for her first full-length release since 2015's Peach Kelli Pop III. The record is called Gentle Leader, and it's set to arrive on May 25 through Mint.
While previous Peach Kelli Pop releases have seen Hanlon take on most of the production and performing duties herself, this time around she worked with outside parties. The album was co-produced by Hanlon alongside Roland Cosio, who also contributed some guitar. Other musicians on the record include Sophie Negrini, Gina Negrini and Mean Jeans drummer Andrew Bassett.
