Montreal label Brain Gum may have only been formed within the past few months, but the label is wasting no time in getting started, having readied their first 7-inch release from rowdy power trio NOBRO.
Titled Stoke Level: High! and due out April 26, the 7-inch does a stellar job in demonstrating the Montreal three-piece's memorable melodies and self-described "onslaught of shred and grit." Featuring a handful of ferocious tracks, the release is available online through the label here, while a video for first single "Call the Doctor" can be found below.
Started by Chance Hutchison of Montreal garage-pop outfit Sonic Avenues, Brain Gum has also announced it will be co-releasing Hypnopedia, the debut LP from Toronto trio Brat Kings, alongside Dirt Cult Records.
