The Motorleague Announce 'Holding Patterns' LP, Canadian Fall Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 16, 2015

Punky Moncton outfit the Motorleague haven't released an album since 2013's Acknowledge, Acknowledge, but they're now gearing up for a very busy fall. Not only have the New Brunswick band just announced a new album, but they will be hitting the road for a Canadian tour.

The new LP is called Holding Patterns, and it will arrive on October 16 through Sonic Records. The 10 songs were recorded with producer Eric Ratz (Billy Talent, Cancer Bats) at Toronto's Vespa Studios.

Although the band have undergone some lineup changes and sonic shifts over the years, it seems that they've now finally settled on a firm sound with a solid lineup. Singer-guitarist Don Levandier said in a statement, "This is finally four guys with the same vision. We embraced that we're a full-on rock band, and with this record, played up the writing to what we know we're good at."

The towering mega-rock anthem "The Boards" can be heard at the bottom of this page, along with a half-minute trailer video for Holding Patterns.
