Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Ouri has shared a new single titled "Felicity."
The track feels like summer in a song — just in time for the end of the season. Accompanied by Quebecois vocalist Antony Carle, the ballad features Ouri's entrancing soundscapes weaving strings with synths while the duo harmonizes together.
Of the track, Ouri said in a statement:
Despite the superficial and existential hazards, you can always find solace if you accept to dive into the present, in your own flesh, and let your brain disconnect with the help of gorgeous melodies. "Felicity" is a summer ballad for your hot & late summer nights.
The new single follows the release of Ouri's "Shape of It" and "Too Fast No Pain" featuring mobilegirl.
The artist is due to appear at MUTEK's hybrid festival on August 25, as well as Wavelength Music's Toronto Outdoor Picture Show on September 3 alongside Helena Deland and Hildegard. She's also scheduled to perform at this year's FME on September 5.
