You know Massey Hall, but you don't know it like this. Introducing Massey Hall+ — the first-ever ticketed livestreaming service for the Toronto theatre and its sister venue, Roy Thomson Hall.

"While nothing can ever rival the excitement of attending a live concert, Massey Hall+ brings a new level of connection and intimacy to the incredible art and experiences from our iconic venues," Massey Hall President and CEO Jesse Kumagai said of the new service in a press release. "Breaking down barriers of access so our programming can reach a wider audience will only increase our impact in the community as we connect more people to the artists and music we love."

Massey Hall+ is integrated into the venue's preexisting online ticketing platform, making it easy to get in at the door — whether it's in-person or online — all from one place, without the need for separate logins and passwords. It will also enable hybrid event solutions, expanding the hall's physical space and highlighting in-house performances to a Canada-wide audience and beyond.

To be the first to hear about ticketed livestream events and watch exclusive on-demand content, music fans can download the free Massey Hall+ app at masseyhallplus.com. Right now, you can watch the previously recorded Live at Massey Hall film series, as well as documentaries, acoustic sessions and Roy Thomson Hall lobby performances with state-of-the-art audio and visual quality. You'll also find emerging artist profiles, music education programming and more.

Furthermore, fans who download the app today can access never-before-streamed concert films that include Buffy Sainte-Marie (November 2021), Patrick Watson (June 2018) and Celebrating Massey Hall — the hour-long Massey Hall Day film featuring performances from Jim Cuddy, Sarah Harmer, July Talk, Sam Roberts and more, all backed by Whitehorse.
