As Marilyn Manson's legal troubles continue to go from bad to worse, he has now turned himself in to police over an alleged spitting incident that took place at a 2019 concert.
After an arrest warrant was issued for Manson in New Hampshire back in May over the incident, he turned himself in to law enforcement officials on Friday (July 2), TMZ reports. However, he was quickly released on personal recognizance bail.
As TMZ lays out, Manson's bail conditions include that he will commit no crimes while on release, won't have any contact with the alleged victim and will appear at all future court hearing involving the case.
As previously reported, Gilford police in New Hampshire issued a notice to the public that Marilyn Manson — born Brian Warner — was wanted on two counts of Class A misdemeanour simple assault. The charges stemmed from a spitting incident that took place during a concert on August 18, 2019, at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, where the alleged assault against a videographer occurred while in the photo pit.
TMZ has also now posted video of the alleged incident, and you can view that below, though we will warn you that the footage is pretty gross.
"The videographer had been subcontracted by a NH-based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred," a police statement previously explained.
If convicted on the charges, Warner could face a jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $2,000 USD.
On top of the spitting charges, Manson is now facing four lawsuits involving various claims of sexual abuse.
