Earlier today (September 28), Lorde was the latest star to drop by BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge," delivering a killer rendition of Phil Collins' classic "In the Air Tonight."
Punctuated with the song's signature drum fills, electronic keys and Lorde's eccentric vocal delivery (not to mention her off-kilter dancing), it's a welcome update on the 1981 track.
Turns out we'd been waiting for this moment all our lives. Oh, Lorde.
The New Zealand singer also delivered one of her own instant classics with a live take of "Green Light." Watch clips of both performances down below. This year's Melodrama is available on standard black and deluxe royal blue vinyl via Umusic.
