Seemingly inspired by Hee-Haw broadcasts, '50s B-movies, and possibly 2011 genre-masher Cowboys & Aliens, La Sera have offered up a rootin'-tootin' sci-fi short film to support Music for Listening to Music To boot stomper "High Notes."
Directed by Jason Lester, the video initially plays out as a vintage TV-style performance vid, with Katy Goodman and the rest of her band plucking out a hoe-down worthy jam. Soon enough, the film set goes bonkers as apes, anthropomorphic poodle punks, and X-ray blaster-armed aliens run amok.

As previously reported, La Sera's new, Ryan Adams-produced album sees release on March 4 via Polyvinyl. A handful of dates supporting the release, including stops in Toronto and Montreal, can be found below.
