After sharing "Lucky Streak" — their debut single for Royal Mountain Records — last month, Vancouver singer-songwriter and Exclaim! New Faves alum Kylie V has announced their sophomore album, further previewed by new track "Wish I Was in Bed."

The follow-up to 2021's Big Blue arrives on November 15. It was made alongside the artist born Kylie Van Syke's close friend and producer Joshua Eastman.

"Making this album felt so good," Van Syke said in a release. "There's a lot of trust needed for making music with somebody, but especially for me because it's so personal."

Of the new single, they added, "'Wish I Was In Bed' is a little bit of a love song to my friends and a little bit of a reminder to let myself have fun. I wrote this song in probably an hour or less while getting ready to go out; it all just kind of fell out onto a page in one piece. I was trying not to ruin a good time for myself with my own thoughts."
