Former Red Hot Chili Pepper John Frusciante and onetime Mars Volta member Omar Rodríguez-López have teamed up as part of the band Kimono Kult, and having announced their impending debut EP, the group have now shared a song.
The outfit's Hiding in the Light EP is due out digitally on March 4 through Neurotic Yell Records. A previous announcement described the sound as "electro/dub/afro-beat/avant-freak/jazz-like," and that's as good a description as any for this Spanish-sung, "experimental electro-fusion cut "Todos Menos El Dolor."
