John K. Samson has shared a new version of his Winter Wheat track "Prayer for Ruby Elm."
The track was initially written back in 2013 for Erika MacPherson's film May We Grow, which tells the story of Winnipeg's battle with Dutch elm disease through the perspective of one of her own condemned plants.
Samson's original film version has now been uncovered, and you can stream it down below.
The former Weakerthans frontman will also be embarking on a string of tour dates with Craig Finn later this month. Find details for the upcoming shows here.
