Revered as the frontmen of the Hold Steady and the Weakerthans, respectively, Craig Finn and John K. Samson both delivered new solo records within the last year — and they're teaming up to go on tour together this fall.
Finn will headline the upcoming dates with his backing band the Uptown Controllers, supporting this year's We All Want the Same Things, while Samson will take the stage solo. His most recent album, Winter Wheat, came out last fall.
The tour kicks off on October 13 in Gainesville, FL, and will make its way to Samson's home and native land for a single Canadian show in Toronto on October 25. The full run of joint dates wraps up in New York on October 31.
