Former Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss has cancelled her upcoming tour dates with Quasi and Slang after getting injured in a car accident last weekend.
She shared a statement on Twitter, explaining that she broke her right leg and left collarbone and would need 12 weeks to recover.
As such, Weiss has cancelled her upcoming shows, including a Quasi tour and Border Benefit show. Her other band Slang was slated to open for Quasi on the upcoming U.S. west coast dates.

She also revealed that her Slang bandmate Drew Grow was in the accident with her, and that he suffered a fractured rib.
Weiss closed out the message saying, "Hug your people and tell them you love them."
