Sleater-Kinney released their eleventh studio album Little Rope at the top of this year, and today they've announced a deluxe version, fittingly titled Little Rope Deluxe and arriving on October 4 via Loma Vista.
The expanded version includes the previously released Frayed Rope Sessions, live versions of Little Rope songs captured at the Forum in Melbourne, plus three brand new songs recorded during the original Little Rope sessions. Those new songs include "Here Today," which is here today!
"Here Today" comes attached to a video made in collaboration with activist art collective In Decline, who displayed the song's lyrics all across Los Angeles in a series of guerrilla projections.
"We're excited to share 'Here Today' with you — it's a song we recorded during the Little Rope sessions," the band said in a statement. "It's an earnest song about our brief time here on earth, and where to find meaning in it."
