It's new magazine issue week over here at Exclaim!, and while we're revelling in the novelty, why not peruse what's new in the CanCon zoo and have a listen to the week's best Canadian music releases?

TOBi returns with another soul-stirring heavy-hitter featuring !llmind, Jayda G is euphoric to be "Feeling Alive" on her dance floor-destroying new track, and Snotty Nose Rez Kids continue to preview Red Future with the ferocious "NO DOGS ALLOWED."

This week in album releases, Energy Slime have envisioned a delightfully synthpoppy Planet Perfect on their long-awaited debut LP, and Fucked Up have technically released two new records: the follow-up to 2023's One Day, Another Day, as well as Who's Got the Time & a Half?, which they wrote, recorded, mixed and released in a span of 24 hours, livestreaming the whole way through.

Elsewhere, Cecile Believe put out her Tender the Spark EP, and Vancouver's Kylie V signed to Royal Mountain Records, making their label debut with the lovely slow-burning "Lucky Streak." Maybe with some luck of your own, you'll find your next musical fixation with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken — all Canadian and proud of it!
