Last month Cecile Believe shared the slick video for new single "Blink Twice," and now she's back with news of an EP called Tender the Spark and "Ponytail," the EP's opening track.
"I've been bursting at the seams waiting to share Tender the Spark with you. A spark is delicate, vulnerable and HOT and my fingers are happily singed from holding onto it!" Believe said about the EP on Instagram. "I hope the spirit of this music echoes in your hearts and speakers, the buds, the clubs, the cars the Benz! Whip that everywhere you go with a grin and your middle fingers up! Love you all for listening and being on this journey with me."
Like "Blink Twice," before it, "Ponytail" is a propulsive, glitchy pop song. This time around, Believe sings, "The world didn't end / But it feels like it's gone now / A late stage self-portrait / Last ride, let's kill it."
