Montreal soul singer-songwriter Hanorah is among the millions under lockdown in their homes to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). To keep herself (and others) entertained, she's shared a new video of her performing a piano version of her song "New Orleans" as part of her ongoing "Quarantine Sessions" video series.
Whereas the studio version of the 2019 single featured Hanorah's powerful vocals on top of sparse guitar, the "Quarantine Sessions" version finds her adapting the track for piano, which provides a soft, raw backbone for her impressive vocal runs.
The clip follows the first "Quarantine Sessions" video, featuring new song "Skeletons," which she dropped last month.
Watch the "New Orleans" video below, and read our interview with Hanorah from when she played Exclaim!'s Class of 2020 concert series earlier this year.
