After recently teasing new song titles, Grimes has shared audio previews of two brand new songs.
She warned that "this prob sounds terrible thru my phone recording," but nevertheless unveiled a couple snippets of what she's been working on.
Grimes described the first clip as "the cheesy love song i was talking about that i don't like but everyone else likes" and revealed that she made the song using her new mellotron. As it stands, the track is titled "Adore U."
She also unveiled a brief snippet of "4 a.m.," which she described as "my ethereal chav jam that's like ... a cyberpunk interpretation of the bajirao mastani movie."
Grimes was careful to point out that the clips shared are incomplete phone demos, but it's still a promising preview of what's to come on the follow-up to 2015's Art Angels.
In other Grimes news, the Canadian-born singer/producer unveiled a collaboration with K-pop group Loona last week.
