Gorillaz have shared a new song from their Song Machine project, a track aptly titled "Aries."
"Episode Three" features contributions from New Order's Peter Hook, who plays bass on the track, as well as Georgia, who plays drums. The new tune arrives just in time for Aries season alongside a new Jamie Hewlett-directed music video.
Gorillaz guitarist Noodle said of the track: "Highly impatient and competitive, many Aries have the fighting spirit of your mythological ruler."
The project has so far released two other tracks, "Desolé" and "Momentary Bliss" — a track that featured slowthai and Slaves.
Gorillaz's Russel previously stated of the project: "Song Machine feeds on the unknown, runs on pure chaos. So whatever the hell's coming, we're primed and ready to produce like there's no tomorrow. Y'know, just in case…"
