Gojira

"Low Lands" (video)

Now that Gojira's red hot Magma has had a chance to seep into your audio canals, the band have prepped a new music video for the album's "Low Lands." Full of spiritual journeying and burning embers, the clip is online now.

The video was partially shot at Gojira members Joseph and Mario Duplantier's childhood home in France, with cousin Alain handling directing duties. The group mash out the track in front of the abode at night, with a bonfire raging in the background.

Perhaps alluding to the passing of the Duplantier brothers' mother while they were making Magma, the other parts of the video find an umbrella-clutching woman making her way through eternally dusty landscapes, idyllic beach scenes, and, at one point, out towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

You can see the video below, while Magma is out now via Roadrunner.

As previously reported, Gojira head to North America this fall for a tour with Tesseract.
