Having teamed with Cadence Weapon, Myka 9, Kay the Aquanaut and more on his First Storm LP earlier this year, Factor Chandelier has detailed an entirely instrumental follow-up.
The Saskatoon-based producer will release new album Eastlake on November 26 through Fake Four Inc.
Not unlike another beatmaker of note, Factor was driven to complete the nine-track Eastlake following a flood at his studio. While rooted in hip-hop, the resulting set of songs is also said to draw from downtempo and electronic-leaning styles.
A first look at this post-flood output arrives today with "Ridin Around (Sixo)," dedicated to late friend, producer and labelmate Scotty "Sixo" Trimble. Take in the track as you cruise along with Factor in the King Rose Visuals-helmed video below.
