Following the previous announcement of Dream Theater's 40th anniversary tour dates through Europe and the UK this fall and a slate of South American shows in December, the prog metal stalwarts have mapped out a run of North American shows for early next year. Billed as An Evening with Dream Theater, the run will bring them to Canada for a pair of concerts in Toronto and Montreal.
"The excitement we have felt from the fans since the first tour was announced has been overwhelming! Now we get to bring the show to our home country and play a bunch of cities that we haven't been together in for more than a decade," the band shared in a statement. "We can't wait to continue this historic celebration of 40 years together with everyone in North America next year. We still have plenty of more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming weeks."
The North American shows kick off on February 7, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA, with Dream Theater making their sole venture into Canada the following month to play Toronto's Coca-Cola Coliseum on March 11 and Montreal's Place des Arts on March 12. They'll complete the remainder of the trek stateside, with things currently set to wrap up on March 22 in New York, NY.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (September 13) at 10 a.m. local, following various presales getting underway starting tomorrow (September 11). Find the full itinerary below.
