Though contradictory to basically everything else he stands for, Drake apparently isn't good at taking compliments. After popular YouTuber iShowSpeed called his voice "so sexy" in a streamed FaceTime call, the rapper abruptly hung up.
Drake's ghosting occurred on iShowSpeed's stream on Wednesday (February 15), where he surprised the streamer with an impromptu call. "Yo, Drake! What's good, bruh? Oh my God," he said. "Yo Drake, what's up dog? You look great right now! What's up? Yo you look good, bruh!," the streamer said before Drizzy said he was proud of him.
After talking a bit about soccer — for those of you wondering, Drake is team Ronaldo over Messi — the two got all lovey until enough was enough. "I got a lot of love for you, man. Like I said, I'm proud of you," Drake said. "You're doing your thing, man. I was talking about you the other day in the car … I'm proud of you, for real."
This is where the call went awry: "Bro, your voice is so sexy," iShowSpeed said. "Like, how is it so smooth like that? How your voice so smooth like that, bruh?" Laughing, Drake then immediately ended the call, and the streamer got up and started punching the chair he was sitting on.
"He's not gonna answer the phone again, bro," he said after his fit of rage. "I didn't mean, I said it wrong, bruh. I meant to say his voice is smooth, but I said it wrong. On God, I said it bad."
While Drake may not like having his voice called sexy — at least in FaceTimes with certain subsects of the population — there's one thing he really loves: Exclaim! Magazine.
