DragonForce Give Canada One Last Taste of Ultra Breakdown

Been feeling a little low lately? Your epic metal levels have probably dipped to dangerous proportions. That's why it's so great to know that power metal/technical beasties DragonForce are prepared to come ripping and shredding out of the gate for another North American jaunt.

This September, the London-based sextet - probably the only time you see the words "sex" and "DragonForce" in one line - are ready to tour in support of their latest aural frenzy Ultra Beatdown that was released just about a year ago. It's their fourth full-length overall and has been getting some pretty rave reviews. In other words, a lot of metal dudes really need to get out of the house. Maybe this will be the catalyst.

The tour is about a month long and covers some pretty good territory so don't - heh heh, "fret" - about missing them. The band has stated that it will probably be the last North American stint on this album. Then they'll get work on album number five. Finnish power metal brigade Sonata Arctica and label mates Taking Down are scheduled for support.

DragonForce Canadian tour dates:

9/21 Vancouver, BC - Commodore Ballroom
9/23 Edmonton, AB - Edmonton Events Centre
