Despite releasing sophomore album DECIDE all the way back in 2022, 2024 was arguably Djo's big year thanks to TikTok mega-hit "End of the Beginning." The man behind the music, Joe Keery of Stranger Things, has obviously been quite busy in the interim, with the fifth and final season of Netflix's big one reportedly heading to screens sometime this year — but not too busy to record a new album.
Keery's third full-length, The Crux, is due April 4 through AWAL. He's previewing the effort today with lead single "Basic Being Basic," and he's also booked a massive tour spanning February to June, with dates in Oceania, North America and Europe/UK.
The North American dates include a pair in Canada; Djo will perform Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on April 7 and Toronto's History on April 29, both with support from Post Animal. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 31, at 9 a.m. local time with the artist presale beginning Tuesday, January 28, at 9 a.m. local. $1 per ticket will go toward those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires via the PLUS1 L.A. Fires Fund.
