California rock quintet Delta Spirit have announced plans for a new album titled One Is One, which is due to arrive May 20 via New West Records.
It's their second album with the label following 2020's What Is There, and today, they've offered up the title track to further preview the project.
Frontman Matthew Logan Vasquez said of "One Is One" in a statement:
Electronic music has always landed within our Venn diagram of taste. For me, I already have other projects that house different genre subsets. Delta Spirit checks those modern and epic boxes. It's fun to create this type of music, especially with what my bandmates bring to the table.
As for the rest of the record, Vasquez explained that "One Is One essentially says, 'What is life all about? Here are some observations.'"
The band are due to take their new batch of tunes on the road next month for a run of North American tour dates — including a stop in Vancouver on May 13. Listen to "One Is One" below, where you'll also find the record's tracklisting and Delta Spirit's upcoming tour itinerary.
